Biographical notes:
Underkofler lives in Middleton, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin before joining the army in 1942.
He served with the 104th Infantry Division in Holland and Germany during World War II. Following the war, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Law.
