Lett, Harold A.
Biographical notes:
In 1934, Harold A. Lett came to Newark (N.J.) as Executive Director of the New Jersey Urban League, and in 1945, he became Assistant Director of Compliance for the New Jersey Division against Discrimination. From 1959 to 1966, he served as Assistant Director of the Labor Management Relations Commission for the National Conference of Christians and Jews of New York City. Lett was also a member of Newark Housing Authority (1938-1942). Throughout his career, Lett has been active in civic affairs, dealing with housing, welfare, and labor management relations.
