Markham, John, 1916-
Biographical notes:
John Bernard Markham was born June 17, 1916, on the Markham ranch near Moran, Wyoming. He received a B.S. degree in pharmacy from Idaho State College in Pocatello, Idaho, in 1947 and an A.A. degree in electronics from East Los Angeles College in 1963. He was employed by the United States Weather Bureau and as an electronics and communications engineer. He spent many years researching and writing on the history of the Jackson Hole, Wyoming, area.

John Bernard Markham was born in Moran, Wyoming, on June 17, 1916, the second son of Joseph J. and Johanna (Waldin) Markham. Joseph Markham was an employee of the U.S. Reclamation Service, building the Jackson Lake Dam. John Markham died in Turlock, California, on April 21, 1981.
