Biographical notes:

Daniels was an American songwriter and music publisher whose first hit song, "Margery," (1896) was popularized by John Philip Sousa. His best know songs include "You Tell Me Your Dreams, I'll Tell You Mine, " "Moonlight and Roses, " and "She's Funny That Way." Much of Daniels' work was published under the pseudonyms Neil Moret, Lamonte C. Jones, L'Albert, Sidney Carter, Joe Burke, Jules Lemare, Julian Strauss and Charlie Hill.
