George Mark Watson MacDonogh (Sir) (b. 1865-d. 1942), Major-General in the British Army and Director of Military Intelligence, War Office (1916-1918), was commissioned with the Royal Engineers in 1884. With Britain's entry into the First World War, he went to France as the Commander-in-Chief's Chief Intelligence Officer. General MacDonogh retired in 1925.
