Bage family.
Biographical notes:
The Bage and Lange families, which were related by marriage, occupied a prominent position in Melbourne society. Anna Newsom Bage (1820-1891) emigrated to Victoria with her husband Edward Bage in 1853. Her son Charles Bage (1859-1930) was a Melbourne physician.
