Wilson, Robert D. (Robert Dohonian), 1914-
Biographical notes:
Wilson served with Troop I, 104 Cavalry Regiment, Pa. National Guard in the late 1930's. During World War II was with Battery F and Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 190th Field Artillery Regiment (1942-43) and was also deployed with coast artillery in Northern Ireland (1942). Following initial stages of the Battle of the Bulge, Wilson was transferred to the 424th Infantry Regiment where he served as a machine gunner. Was awarded the Bronze Star and discharged from the Army in 1945.
