Journalist, biographer and broadcaster. Marr worked as a reporter with the "National Times" (1980-82) and Four Corners (1985, 1990-91) and presenter of Radio National's 'Arts today' (1994-96). His published works include "Barwick (1980), "The Ivanov trail" (1984), "Patrick White a life" (1991) and "Patrick White letters" (1994).
