Biographical notes:

Family of John Parker, farmer, wheelwright, tax assessor, and militia captain; of Lexington, Mass.; commanded the Lexington Minutemen who fought the British during the first battle of the American Revolution. Family members moved from Reading. Mass., and settled in the south part of Lexington in 1712.
