California and Oregon United States Mail Line.
Biographical notes:
The California and Oregon United States Mail Line arose from an 1860 contract between the California Stage Company and the Postmaster General establishing daily service from Sacramento to Portland. It lasted until 1865, when a new contract was negotiated.
