Musician, choir leader, evangelist, executive of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA); born Clifford Burton Barrows on April 6, 1923, in Ceres, California; received bachelor's degree from Bob Jones University in 1944; served as an evangelist and vice-president with Youth for Christ from 1945-1948, often working with Billy Graham; from 1948 on worked exclusively with Graham as music director, choir leader. traveling companion and advisor; from 1950 on he was a member of the board and officer of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, with particular responsibilities for radio and film production.
