Biographical notes:
Unitarian Universalist summer meeting grounds in Saco, Maine. Quillen Hamilton Shinn, Universalist minister and missionary began to hold summer services at Ferry Beach in 1901. Universalists gradually expanded the program to include a variety of institutes for education, fellowship, and recreation.
