The thirteen-member University of Central Florida Board of Trustees (BOT) was appointed on June 22, 2001 after the Florida Board of Regents (BOR) was abolished by the Florida legislature. It consists of the current elected student government president and headed by the university president with the remaining members are appointed by the Governor.
