Biographical notes:
Charles L. Schlatter, a native of Pennsylvania, lived in Glynn County, Georgia prior to and during the early Civil War years. He was in the 1860 Glynn County, Georgia census as fifty years old. He was married to Fanny C. Schlatter and they had three children Charles L. (Jr.), Fannie, and Mary.
