Biographical notes:
Evangelist; born August 3, 1892; employed as an auto mechanic and tool engineer; played semi-professional baseball; converted in the Methodist Episcopal Church; called to revival ministry and began preaching in factories, hospitals, and rest homes in the early 1920's; became official evangelist for the Assemblies of God, Springfield, MO, being also associated with Christian and Missionary Alliance; trained as airplane pilot and ministered in airport rallies as part of evangelistic activities; retired in 1983.
