Steve (Stephen Robert) Endean (1948 –1993) was a Minnesota and national gay rights activist and author. Endean, born in Iowa, founded the Minnesota Committee for Gay Rights (later Gay Rights Legislative Committee) and the Human Rights Campaign Fund (HRC), served as director of the Gay Rights National Lobby and co-chaired the Board of Directors of the National Gay Task Force.
