Biographical notes:

This collection was originally part of the Printed Matter file (PM 7). A vertical file of sorts, PM 7 was designated as static, and was processed as permanent January 1993. General studies was a college which included the non-major of Honors, Indian Education, and the Air Force and Army ROTC. University Studies was also included, but as a degree-offering department. The College also included the Advisement Center, and the General Education Operations. The College of General Studies began in 1971, and has continued through 1993, undergoing several changes. In 1993 the College assumed the name of Counseling and Development Center.
