Whaling vessel, out of New Bedford, Mass., mastered by Henry A. Slocum (until Dec. 1870) and then Leonard K. Macomber, on voyage 21 July 1868-15 July 1871 to the Crozette, Mahe Banks, Coast of Arabia, Madagascar, East Cape, Tristan, Cornell, and other whaling grounds; owner-agent: Thomas Knowles & Co.; built at Falmouth, Mass., in 1847.
