Biographical notes:
The University of Florida appointed an Advisor to Student Organizations in 1949. Assistant Dean of Students H.K. McClelland served as the first advisor. The office kept files on each organization that sought official recognition from the University. Current student organization files are maintained in the Program Office of the Reitz Union.
