Biographical notes:

The ARCO Center for Visual Art, established in 1976, was a not-for-profit gallery funded by the Atlantic Richfield Company focusing on contemporary art. The gallery was located at the Atlantic Richfield Plaza, 505 South Flower Street in Los Angeles, until its closing in 1984.

Among the exhibitors were Walter Gabrielson, Joseph Raffael, Craig Kauffman, Hassel Smith, Michael Todd, Ed Ruscha, Joe Goode, Carlos Almaraz, Peter Alexander, Larry Bell, Frank Romero, Liga Pang, Don Potts, William Crutchfield, George Herms, and Herbert Bayer.
