Biographical notes:
The first Dean of Students at Davidson College was Dr. Sentelle who served from 1920 to 1941. This office now oversees Residence Life, Career Services, the Counseling Center and Student Health, the Chaplain's Office and the student union. The office is responsible for Freshman Orientation, Parent's Weekend, and the Hall Counselors for first-year and sophomore dormitories.
