Ola Elizabeth Winslow was an American author and educator who was born in Grant City, Missouri, in 1885(?) and died in Damariscotta, Maine, in 1977. She was a highly-regarded expert in the field of Colonial religious history. In addition to her biography of Jonathan Edwards, which won a Pulitzer Prize in 1941, she wrote many other historical and biographical works. She was a professor of English at Wellesley College until her retirement in 1950.
