In 1970, as a term project for a class in "Bionics and Robots," taught by Professor Henry David Block, Gary Cokins and Pete Watzka wrote a computer program using a programming language that was a blend of COBOL and FORTRAN to simulate all of the games played for each National League team. They received an A for the project. Originally programmed on IBM punch cards, the paper includes copies of the original print-out.
