Biographical notes:
The Union was formed in 1827 to "promote the interest of sabbath schools in the counties of Rensselaer, Saratoga, Columbia, Washington, Warren, Schenectady, Schoharie, Montgomery, Albany, Greene and any other adjacent counties not included in any neighboring union.
