Crouch was born in Denver, CO, on Feb. 13, 1915; BA (1936) and MA (1937), UCLA; director, League of Women Voters of Los Angeles, 1948-50; member of task force, Commission for the Reorganization of Los Angeles City Government, 1951-52; became chairman, sub-committee on citizens participation, Citizens Urban Renewal Advisory Commission of Los Angeles in 1957; secretary, advisory board, UCLA YMCA, 1956-58; member, Faculty Wives Club, UCLA.
