The Washington County, N.Y. Farmers and Mechanicks Library was formed in 1802, in Cambridge, N.Y. Founders of this subscription library included Reuben Pride ( - ) and John Dunlop ( - ). The library was disbanded in 1847 and its books were sold at public auction.
