Brown and his wife, Elizabeth Grisham Brown included, in addition to their immediate family, her uncle William Grisham and his wife, Susan Bradford Grisham; their son-in-law Joel L. Galt and Joel's brother Edward; William's son, Joseph Grisham, and his daughter, Elizabeth Collins (Mrs. J.D. Collins); Susan B. Grisham's sister Ella Bradford married George Troup Watts.
