Aubrey Neblett Brown, Jr. graduated from Davidson College in 1929. He was originally from Mineral Wells, Texas and after his freshman year, he and three friends drove by car from Davidson, North Carolina to Mineral Wells. While at Davidson, Brown was editor of the Davidsonian, and a member of Delta Pi Kappa, Omicron Delta Kappa, Sigma Upsilon, Eumenean Literary Society, Honorary Fraternities Council, and Publications Board. After graduating from Davidson College, Brown attended Union Theological Seminary and served as a pastor in Richmond, Virgina.
