Biographical notes:

Connors (1922-2000) born and raised in Spring Green (Wisconsin), was drafted into the Army in December 1942 and served as a radio operator in the 1st Battalion, 129th Infantry in the Pacific theatre. After being shot, Connors returned to the United States for recovery before his discharge on 11 November 1945. He worked for the Madison Post Office until retirement.
