Records from 1839 of churches of the Bunbury diocese. Includes St Pauls, and, St Davids churches, Bunbury, and the Brotherhood of St Boniface at Williams (1911-1929), also includes Australind, Carey Park, Rathmines, Katanning, Kojonup, Picton, Tambellup, Wickepin, the Vasse and Yarloop. Church of England services were held in Western Australia from the colony's inception in 1829. The Church of England in Australia was established in 1962 and, in 1981, became the Anglican Church of Australia.

The Diocese of Bunbury is large in area but the population is small in numbers. The three main centres are Mandurah in the north, Bunbury in the middle, and Albany in the south. The first parish of St Marks, Bunbury, commenced in September 1842. The Diocese of West Australia was multiplied in 1904 and the Diocese of Bunbury, Western Australia was established. Church of England services were held in Western Australia from the colony's inception in 1829. The Church of England in Australia was established in 1962 and, in 1981, became the Anglican Church of Australia.
