Pierson family.
Biographical notes:
The Pierson family of Michigan and New York are descendents of lawyer and politician Job Pierson (1791-1860). Prominent members of the family include Reverend Job Pierson (1824-1896) and his daughter in law, the children's book author, Clara Dillingham Pierson.
