Wright, James Edwin.
Christian worker; born, 1927; studied at Wheaton College and Multnomah School of the Bible; helped start Bible clubs for Portland's Youth for Christ, had film and prison ministry, set up crusades in western Michigan, 1947-1951; worked in India as YFC's Western India director and director of its Bible correspondence school, 1951-1954; developed counseling and follow-up materials and training program for YFC, 1954-1960; developed YFC teams for Mexico City evangelism, 1960-1961; worked in association with Colorado Springs independent churches, 1961-1976; director of Colorado Rockies Bible Camp, 1964-1971; joined staff of Family Life Services and helped found Colorado Springs Christian School, 1972; moved to western Colorado to engage in church planting and found Christian school, 1976; married Louise Warren, 1951, and had five children.
