Huebner, Clarence R., 1888-1972

Clarence Ralph Huebner (b. November 24, 1888, Bushton, Kansas-d. September 23, 1972,Washington, D.C.) was a United States Army general who served in World War I and commanded the First Infantry Division and then the V Corps during World War II. After the war, he was the last acting Military Governor of the American Zone in Germany, from May 15 to September 1, 1949. He retired from Army service in 1950.
