Lyons, Edmund
Edmund Lyons was born in Burton, Hampshire in 1790. He first went to sea in 1798 By 1828 he was in command of Blonde in the Mediterranean during which time he received the French Order of St Louis and the Greek Knight Commander of the Order of the Redeemer. He served during the Crimea war as died at Arundel Castle in November 1858
