Foust (Jan. 4, 1902-Sept. 7, 1979) served at CMU as Professor of Mathematics, 1937-1945; Assist. to the President and Dir. of Summer Sessions, 1946-1952; Vice Pres. of General and Academic Admissions, 1953-1958; and Pres., 1959-1968. He married Virginia Sutherland on Aug. 20, 1924. Together they had five children. (Information from his obituary in the Morning Sun., Sept. 8, 1979, and CMU yearbooks.)
