College presidents-Connecticut.
Charles Lewis Beach served as the fourth president of the college from 1908-1928. Prior to his term as president he was an instructor in Dairy Husbandry (1894-1904) at the college and held a similar position at the University of Vermont. Beach was known for his quiet friendly manner and his deep commitment to the college.
