The Office of Hospital Information Coordinator was established in University Hospital in 1967. The Office was redesignated as the ;Office of Information Coordinator in 1978. The Office provides information about University Hospital activities, events, and personnel to the news media and the public. The Office also serves as a source of internal public relations at University Hospital. John L. Wright served as the first director of the Office from 1967 to 1985. Hank Black succeeded him.
