Public Monument Conservation Project.
In 1986, the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission agreed to participate in the National Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Property's Public Monument Conservation Project. Denver was one of six cities in the Project's pilot program. Some 50 monumnets were surveyed. The study was headed by Phil H. Goodstein.
