John Jermain Memorial Library.
John Cooper arrived in Southampton in 1640 from Olney, England. The family business of boatbuilding and coopering extended into Sag Harbor, N.Y. The family resided there about 1812. This collection deals with the 6th, 7th, and 8th generations of descendants.
