Meredith, William M. (William Morris), 1799-1873

William Morris Meredith (1799-1873) was an American lawyer in Philadelphia, Pa. and politician, serving as U.S. Secretary of the Treasury under Pres. Zachary Taylor, 1849-1850, and Pa. state attorney general, 1861-1867.
