DeVol, Frank
Frank DeVol (b.1911) was a composer, conducter and arranger for radio, motion pictures and television. He received Academy Award nominations for "Pillow Talk," "Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte, and "Cat Ballou." His music was heard on radio during the "Rudy Vallee Show," "Ginny Sims," "Jack Carson," and "Jack Smith-Dinah Shore" programs. On television he continued to write and arrange for Dinah Shore and others, including the series "Family Affair, ." "Brady Bunch," "Love Boat," and "McCloud." In films, his music was performed in "Hustle," "The Longest Yard," and "Dirty Dozen."
