Passler, Marjorie Palmer.

Marjorie Palmer Passler is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James C. Palmer, Sr. The Palmer family had lived in Washington State before her father was transferred to Washington, D.C. Mr. James C. Palmer was a chemist for the Food and Drug Administration. Since they had been long-time residents of Washington State, they had been invited to the unveiling and dedication of the statue of Marcus Whitman in Statuary Hall in Washington, D.C. The family attended the ceremony that was held on May 22, 1953. Marjorie P. Passler was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution's Cascade Chapter in Bellevue and a life member of the Seattle-King County Chapter of the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.
