Uttley, Alison, 1884-1976
A prolific English author whose career spanned almost fifty years,Alison Uttley was best known for creating Little Grey Rabbit, a character who,with an assortment of friends, appeared in more than 30 books. Some of her essays are thinly veiled autobiographical reminiscences of her childhood in England at the turn of the 20th century.
