Swan River Exploration Re-enactment Committee.
Established 1976 to plan for and eventually stage the re-enactment of Captain James Stirling's journey up the Swan River in March 1827. The journey was re-enacted Friday 9 March to Monday 12 March 1979, during Western Australia's 150th celebrations, and the Committee disbanded September of the same year.
