Genereaux, Raymond P., 1902-2000.
Raymond P. Genereaux was born in Seattle, Wash., on September 20, 1902. He did his undergraduate work at Stanford and received a degree in chemical engineering from Columbia University. He joined E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company at their Wilmington Experimental Station in 1929. Genereaux was a specialist in the flow of fluids and designed many production facilities for DuPont, including the plutonium separation apparatus for the Manhattan Project. Genereaux retired in 1967 and died at age 97 on April 30, 2000.
