Florida Public Service Commission Nominating Council.
The Florida Public Service Commission Nominating Council was created in 1978 (Ch. 78-426, Laws) with the mission of recommending at least three candidates for each vacancy on the Florida Public Service Commission. The Council consists of nine members: three members, including one Representative, appointed by the Speaker of the House; three members, including one Senator, appointed by the President of the Senate; and three members elected by the other six council members.
