Robbins, Jay T., 1919-2001
Jay T. Robbins (b. 1919, Coolidge, Tex.-d. Mar. 3, 2001), ; jet-qualified command pilot, was appointed vice commander of the Tactical Air Command at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia in February 1970. In August 1972 he became vice commander of the Military Airlift Command. He retired from Air Force service on September 1, 1974.
