She was a Mennonite, never married, was nicknamed Anely, and kept a series of diaries and account books, most of which are in private hands. Anna died September 1, 1876, in the home that she had shared with her sister Magdelena Shirk in Akron, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. There is no known connection between Weber and the rest of the families represented in this collection.
