Horsky, Charles A. (Charles Antone), 1910-1997
Charles Antone Horsky (1910-1997) was born in Helena, Montana. He received his A.B. from the University of Washington in 1931 and in 1934, received his LL.B. from Harvard University. From 1935 to 1939, Horsky worked as an Attorney in the Solicitor General's Office. From 1955 to 1962 he served as President of the Washington Housing Association. Horsky was a lecturer at the University of Virginia Law School from 1958 to 1962. During that time, served as Chairman of the Washington, D.C. Commissioner's Planning Advisory Council (1960-1962). From 1962 to 1967, he served as Advisor to the President for National Capital Affairs, and in 1967, served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Washington, D.C. Board of Higher Education. In 1968, he resumed lecturing at the University of Virginia Law School.
