Montana Capitol Restoration Foundation.

Incorporated in 1996 to plan for and institute the restoration of Montana?s state capitol building. Over the years, since its original building in 1902, the capitol building had been renovated and remodeled many times. The beauty of the original building had been replaced with a more utilitarian design. Beginning with Montana?s centennial in 1889, people began planning for restoration of the capitol to its original grandeur. The restoration was completed in 2000.
